New Zealand Certificate in Glass and Glazing

This qualification has three strands – Frameless, Residential and Commercial. More than one strand may be selected for an apprenticeship. The selection is dependent on the core business of the company.

You might notice that some unit standards are duplicated across strands. This means that once they have been achieved and reported to NZQA by BCITO there is no need to repeat them. You will work towards completing the remaining units through your block course and on-job work experiences.

Block Courses for 2025

BCITO advises employers and apprentices of the dates booked for an apprentice to complete an off-job training course. When receiving a course date, it is recommended that the dates are noted in your work schedule. Courses are very full. A withdrawal could mean a long wait to be rescheduled.
